The Omicron Omicron Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. was founded on Sunday, March 21, 1948 in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The Omicron Omicron Chapter serves the Daytona Beach/Volusia and Flagler County areas.

Our Founders:

Rev. Dr. Rogers P. Fair Sr. (Bethune-Cookman Chaplain)

Bernard Smith Sr. (College Professor)

Edward Rodriguez (God son of Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune)

Percy Milligan (Math professor at Bethune-Cookman)

“friendship is essential to the soul,” the name Omega Psi Phi was derived. That phrase was selected as the motto.

Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance and Uplift were adopted as Cardinal Principles.
